Reasons for leave of absence:

Reasons for leave of absence:

1: Have felt tired, and generally not well, for the last month.
a: the reason for this, is that I am pregnant.

This isn't a planned pregnancy, but our new baby is definitely wanted :) although...if I had remembered how tired I get when I'm pregnant, I might have waited longer...Little J takes lots of energy to chase after him all day long. Ah well. The new little one will be here the end of February.

Goodness gracious, I have to get new baby things. I gave away all (okay, most) of Little J's stuff. Hmm...and I'm going to have to get some clothes for me, too. I'm currently wearing dh's jeans because mine push against my tummy too much. Hopefully, the fashions this time don't make me look like a little SHORT round butterball. Last time, they did. Which meant I really really didn't spend much money on maternity clothes.

Oh, I'm very happy for you and your growing family!

The Beloved and I are currently trying for our first, so I'm a little bit jealous, too :)

And since you got rid of most of Little J's baby things, this means it's time to knit lots of cute little baby socks and hats and sweaters...squee!!!

Congratulations! I had both our kids in March and think it's a good time of the year to be pregnant. The heat bothered me a bit in the beginning when I felt tired and sick, but it was nice and cool outside when the hot flashes hit! ;-) Our first wasn't planned (just not prevented), but our second was planned for when my husband graduated (so I can completely understand!) Think of all the little baby things you can knit for next spring! Good luck and hope the first trimester blahs pass quickly!

Congratulations!! I was wondering where you were and was glad to see the book list post as that meant you are alive and well.

I bought the Sharing Knife because you posted about it earlier. I haven't read it yet, working on Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norell.

Congrats again!!
